1 Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using Linux Command Line Mastery (the "Product"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or use the Product.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "You") and Learn Linux by Doing ("We", "Us", "Our").

2 Product Description

Linux Command Line Mastery is a digital educational workbook delivered as:

• PDF format – optimized for desktop and tablet reading
• EPUB format – compatible with e-readers and mobile devices
• Source files package – supplementary scripts, configurations, and practice materials

The Product contains 530 hands-on Linux command-line exercises organized into 30 chapters, designed for progressive skill development from beginner to advanced levels.

3 License Grant

Upon payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use the Product under the following terms:

✅ You MAY:

• Download and save the Product files to your personal devices
• Print the Product for your personal use
• Use the Product for personal education and skill development
• Practice the exercises on your own systems (local or cloud)
• Reference the Product in your learning journey and portfolio

❌ You MAY NOT:

• Share, distribute, or resell the Product files (PDF, EPUB, or source files)
• Upload the Product to file-sharing sites, torrents, or public repositories
• Reproduce, republish, or translate the content for public distribution
• Use the Product for commercial training without written permission
• Remove, modify, or obscure any copyright notices or branding
• Transfer your license to another person or entity

4 Payment & Delivery

Payment: All payments are processed securely through Stripe or Lemon Squeezy. By completing your purchase, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.

Delivery: The Product is delivered electronically via instant download immediately after successful payment. You will receive:

• A confirmation email with download links
• Access to all Product files (PDF, EPUB, source files)
• Instructions for accessing future updates (if applicable)

Access Issues: If you do not receive your download links within 10 minutes of purchase, contact us at support@learnlinuxbydoing.com with your order confirmation.

5 No Refunds Policy

Due to the digital nature of the Product, all sales are final and non-refundable.

We offer this policy because:

• The Product is delivered instantly and in full upon purchase
• Digital content cannot be "returned" once accessed
• We provide a free preview of Chapter 1 so you can evaluate the Product before buying

Exceptions:

Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:

• Technical failure: You were charged but did not receive access to the Product files
• Duplicate purchase: You accidentally purchased the Product multiple times

In these cases, contact support@learnlinuxbydoing.com within 7 days of purchase with your order details.

6 Intellectual Property Rights

All content in Linux Command Line Mastery — including text, exercises, scripts, configurations, structure, and design — is the exclusive property of Learn Linux by Doing and is protected by copyright laws.

7 Updates & Revisions

We may release updates to the Product to:

• Fix errors or typos
• Add new exercises or chapters
• Update content for new Linux versions or tools
• Improve clarity and usability

Major updates are free for existing customers. You will be notified via email when significant updates are available.

Note: We are not obligated to provide updates indefinitely. Updates are provided at our discretion.

8 Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Educational Purpose

The Product is designed for educational purposes only. Exercises should be performed in safe, non-production environments (personal machines, VMs, test servers).

No Warranty

The Product is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learn Linux by Doing shall not be liable for:

• Data loss, system damage, or security breaches resulting from Product use
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities

Your total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Product.

9 Termination

Your license to use the Product remains in effect unless:

• You violate these Terms (e.g., unauthorized distribution)
• You initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first

Upon termination:

• Your license is immediately revoked
• You must cease all use of the Product
• You must delete all copies of the Product files

Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

10 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Product shall be resolved through:

1. Informal resolution: Contact us at support@learnlinuxbydoing.com to resolve the issue amicably
2. Formal dispute: If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Slovakia]

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

• Changes in our business practices
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Product improvements or new features

Notification: Significant changes will be communicated via email or posted on https://learnlinuxbydoing.com/terms/ with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the Product after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
